Popcorn sweet/salt

Salty popcorn

Sunflower oil 3 Tbsp
Popcorn kernels 1/4 cup
Salt 1/2 tbsp

Sweet popcorn

Sunflower oil 3 tbsp
Popcorn kernels 1/4 cup
Sugar 2 tbsp

Instructions for salty popcorn:

Use a large enough pan so all the popcorn kernels have enough room to pop.

Put the sunflower oil, salt and kernels in the pan and set to high heat.

Use a wooden spoon to stir, and keep stiring and mixing the salt and kernels until three or 4 kernels have popped.

Put the lid on the pan and shake every 5 to 10 seconds and keep the lid slightly ajar to let the steam from the popcorn release (the popcorn will be drier and crisper, close the lid if you are shaking) until you hear no more kernels pop.

Remove from heat, remove the lid, and dump the popcorn immediately into a wide bowl and use the wooden spoon to stir. You should now have nice dry and crispy popcorn, enjoy!

Remove from heat, and spread the last tbsp of sugar over the popcorn and stir. Put the lid back on and set on high heat for 30 seconds whilst shaking. Remove from heat, remove the lid, and dump the popcorn immediately into a wide bowl and use the wooden spoon to stir. You should now have nice dry and crispy popcorn, enjoy!
